It is perfectly natural for Sterling Silver to tarnish over time. This is not a defect but the effects of a natural chemical process when Sterling Silver is exposed to sulphur and acids (like sweat, skin oils), humidity, chemicals and water. So, it is important to polish your Silver and follow our longevity tips to keep your jewellery beautiful.

CLEANING YOUR JEWELLERY:

  • Rub vigorously with a Silver polishing cloth to remove any unwanted tarnish.
  • If you find the tarnish has not been removed after polishing, try using water or metal polishing solution.
  • Make sure you pat your jewellery dry.

TIPS FOR LONGEVITY:

  • Try not to wear any Sterling Silver products in any water, swimming pools, showers or spas. Chlorine can cause damage to Sterling Silver.
  • Remove your Sterling Silver whilst exercising
  • Try wearing Sterling Silver separately to other jewellery.
  • Be careful not to expose Sterling Silver to any detergents, soaps, hairspray products, hand sanitizers, perfume, lotions or other chemicals.
  • Be sure to store away in any small jewellery boxes to prevent damage from sunlight and extreme heat.
